My name is Christian Stange, and my family and I live in the small community of Ilberstedt in Germany's beautiful federal state of Saxony Anhalt. This is also where our art studio is located so my wife and I can pursue our passion in peace and quiet. Experience our wood art studio, the remarkable variety of contrasting shapes, the hundreds of different colours and the many untold stories and, not least, the fragrant smell of wood, an olfactory sensation that you will remember forever.

Wood represents all of the elegance, strength and beauty of nature. Each piece of wood supplied by Mother Nature is a small miracle. Wood embodies warmth, and the fragrance creates a pleasant and memorable atmosphere in any setting. Each "Stange" sculpture is a one-off piece; I can also realise a wide range of individual ideas or designs on the basis of a sketch due to my many years of experience and material expertise.

My partners, collaborators and business acquaintances are based throughout Germany, from Potsdam to Berlin and Brandenburg, Leipzig, Munich, Hamburg, Wilhelmshaven, Rügen and Binz. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any further queries, requests or suggestions to make.

Our artistically crafted wooden objects are beautiful, eye-catching features in any entrance area, in a garden, in any home or also on business premises. Whether untreated or painted in bright colours, they add a much-needed natural and well-balanced touch especially to modern buildings. In gardens, our wood art looks like an organic part of the whole picture; however, it can also work as an eye-catching accent piece.

Wood is life; light is life. We unite both of these aspects in an artistic way in our light steles. Each piece of wood is unique and has its own particular look, shape and colour. We use it to create a beautiful, one-off decorative object for your home. At night-time, as soon as you enjoy the soft light and the wood fragrance fills the room, you will forget about your everyday cares, relax and feel comfortable.

We work at any scale, whether the wood art object of your dreams is a few metres high or whether you would like a small memento fashioned from a leftover log slice. We create wood art according to your ideas and requirements for any occasion, such as a wedding, a birthday, an inauguration, anniversary or a leave-taking. As chainsaw carvers and artists who work with wood, we have turned our passion into our calling. Every skill, every talent is a gift and we love giving something that is left over from a tree a new lease of life so it can continue to tell its story.

We also offer our works of art to international customers; however, please keep the shipping costs in mind, which the customer pays for. You are also welcome to ask a courier service to collect your work of art for you.
